COMALSID (Comercial Alicantina Siderúrgica SL) was set up in 1986 as an ancillary firm to custom cut tubing made at Bornay. As the needs increased, mainly due to the automobile sector, the company grew and in 2016 it moved to a new factory in Ibi with a useable floor area of 16,000 square metres.
This section that specialises in additional and complementary processes now has its own autonomy and entity to process and supply finished tubing for automotive part companies, metal furniture and commercial equipment firms.
Bornay Group
The group is formed by three companies, Bornay, Tuflesa and Comalsid, each of which has specialised in a different division. Thanks to our global outlook, the company is present, with permanent delegations, in France, Germany and Portugal. In addition, we export throughout Europe, to different parts of Latin America (Mexico, Argentina and Brazil) and some countries in Africa such as Morocco and Angola. Therefore, the company is present in the major markets and will continue to promote its brand in the rest of the world.
